The EU Directive 2025/1960 has applied since 27/09/2026. PlentyONE supports the notification regarding the statutory warranty rights and the label for the commercial durability guarantee (GARAN label) from plentyShop LTS 5.0.83 and PlentyONE Shop 2.0.44. If the display is missing or incorrect in the Shop, this is generally due to an outdated plugin version, the widget not being placed in the ShopBuilder, or a value of “0” having been saved incorrectly.
Important minimum versions:
- plentyShop LTS: At least version 5.0.83 required (the “Display notification directly” option is available from version 5.0.85).
- PlentyONE Shop: At least version 2.0.44 required.
- After updating versions, make sure that the plugin set is redeployed.
Troubleshooting by problem area
Check the widget & ShopBuilder
If the warranty label is missing at checkout or on the item page, or if the widget cannot be found in the ShopBuilder, carry out the following steps:
-
Check versions & plugin set:
Make sure that at least plentyShop LTS 5.0.83 (or 5.0.85 for direct display) or PlentyONE Shop 2.0.44 is installed and that the plugin set has been successfully deployed. -
Place the widget in the checkout content:
The widget is not automatically included in the standard checkout template. It must be stored in a saved ShopBuilder content of the type Checkout. -
Configure the widget display options:
Check the widget settings in the ShopBuilder and activate options such as “Display notification directly” if required. -
Regenerate content & bypass the cache:
Go to Shop » ShopBuilder, click “Regenerate all content” and then check the display in a private browser window (incognito mode).
GARAN label displays “0 years”
If the label incorrectly displays the value “0 years”, a manually entered zero value has been stored in the item data:
-
Use the new item UI:
Open the affected item in the new item UI, remove the entered 0 from the Commercial durability guarantee field (clear the field completely) and save the change. -
Observe variants & inheritance:
For variant items, first remove the 0 from the main variant. An empty field on a sub-variant automatically activates inheritance of the value. -
Avoid zero values:
Do not edit items in the old item view, as the value 0 is preset there by default.
When importing data, make sure that the “Durability in years” field is never populated with the value 0.
Update Amazon catalogues
If the corresponding guarantee fields for the new schema are missing from your stored Amazon catalogues:
- Go to Setup » Markets » Amazon » Add catalogue templates in the menu.
- Remove the existing template.
- Then add the template again. This cleanly reloads the current schema, including all guarantee fields.
