In PlentyONE, you can now specify an extra charge for Shopify and customize its name. For example, this is useful if you sell items with a deposit fee on Shopify.

You can now customize the name of the extra charge. To do this, use the setting Type of extra charge in the Shopify configuration assistant in PlentyONE. Previously, the name for the extra charge was set to “Tip” by default and could not be changed.

How do I specify a deposit fee for Shopify?

If you want to sell an item with a deposit fee on Shopify, first create a custom item for the deposit fee in the Shopify back end.

Then specify the type of extra charge in the Shopify configuration assistant in PlentyONE. To do so, use the setting Type of extra charge in the Order management step.

Important: You must enter the exact same name here as the one used in Shopify for the custom item for the deposit fee.
