In the Shopify configuration assistant, the Tag Handling in Export option has been removed from the Item management step.

This option is no longer required, as the processing of tags during export has been adjusted.

How tag synchronisation now works by default:

• Before export, existing tags on Shopify are queried.
• New tags created in PlentyONE are added to the existing tags.
• The complete, synchronised list of tags is exported to Shopify.

This ensures that existing tags on Shopify are not overwritten unintentionally.

Important:

• Tags created in PlentyONE can still be deleted via PlentyONE.

• Tags created in Shopify cannot be deleted via PlentyONE and must be deleted directly in Shopify.

• Exception: If a tag in PlentyONE has exactly the same name as an existing Shopify tag, the tag created in PlentyONE will replace the Shopify tag upon export. This tag can then be deleted via PlentyONE.

This adjustment does not require any further action on your part.
