It can happen that the shipping confirmation to Netto is not successfully transmitted, even though the outgoing items have been correctly posted in your PlentyONE system.
This is often due to a timing issue: If the outgoing items status and the event procedure Send shipping confirmation to Netto eStores are triggered almost simultaneously, overlaps may occur that prevent the transmission. This behaviour is currently being investigated by our development team. As a successful transmission does not always generate an explicit log entry, troubleshooting in the standard log is often difficult.
How do I set up a workaround for missing Netto shipping confirmations?
To ensure your shipping confirmations are reliably transmitted to Netto, you can set up an automated workflow that triggers the notification again with a time delay.
Step 1: Set up an action
First, create an action that collects all affected orders and changes their status.
Navigate to Setup » Orders » Procedures.
Create a new procedure (e.g. daily at 17:00).
Set the filter Order referrer to Netto.
Select Change status as the procedure and choose a specific interim status (e.g. 7.3).
Step 2: Create an event procedure
Now create the appropriate event procedure that reacts to this status change.
Navigate to Setup » Orders » Events.
Create a new event procedure.
Event: Status change (select the status defined in step 1, e.g. 7.3).
Filter (optional): Order referrer » Netto.
Procedure: Send shipping confirmation to Netto eStores.
With this two-step process, you ensure that the notification is decoupled from the actual outgoing items booked and thus the error rate is significantly reduced.
