In order for your PlentyONE system to send emails, such as order and shipping confirmations, you need to enter the access data of your email mailbox in the Email Accounts assistant.
How to save the access data:
Navigate to: Setup » Client » Global » Email Accounts.
Fill in the fields in the Access Data step:

| Outgoing mail server / SMTP server | Enter your provider's server (e.g. smtp.domain.de). |
| Port (default port: 25) | Enter the value 25. For mailbox.org use 465 and SSL. |
| Encryption method | Choose SSL, TLS or no encryption. |
| Sender name | Your name or the name of your webshop. Tip: Avoid special characters. |
| Email address | The full email address of the mailbox. |
| Username | The username for the email account (for mailbox.org the full email address). |
| Password | The password for the username and email address. |
You can test the sending using the
outgoing_mailbutton.Activate the live mode once you are sure everything is working correctly. In test mode, all emails are sent only to the entered email address.
