You can only create a return at the order level. It is not possible to create a return directly in the delivery order.

Permissible order types

Creating a return is possible from the following order types:

• Order (standard order)
• Warranty

Returns for partial deliveries (multiple delivery orders)

Even if a customer has an order with multiple delivery orders (e.g. due to partial deliveries), you must always book the return at the level of the original overall order. This applies regardless of which delivery order the relevant item was originally shipped with.
