Overview of previously unannounced changes in the Amazon integration.
Amazon Adapter
- New – Important: Contrary to the previous announcement, the adapter is no longer activated automatically. You now have full control: the test mode can be deactivated manually in the adapter settings. This also disables the deprecated feed submission. See Documentation
- Change: Offer-related data has been removed from the adapter. Only product data is now exported via the adapter. Offers are processed via the single price/stock process or via the offer catalogue.
- Change: Default limit for manual exports via the adapter has been reduced from 1000 to 100 to improve feedback report performance.
Amazon Price Updates
- Fix: Between 16.07 and 24.07, price updates were not sent to all Amazon platforms in some cases. Both the catalogue and legacy processes were affected.
Amazon Catalogue (Offer & Product)
- Fix: In some cases, product catalogues could not be exported. This issue has been resolved.
- New: Preview and download of the export file is now available, including for specific item IDs using the catalogue filter.
- New: Image handling has been revised: image lists are now supported. See documentation
- New: Channel Maps can now be used for offer catalogues.
- New: Technical attribute names are now visible in the catalogue to help interpret Amazon feedback.
- New: Pre-mapping for Audience, ASIN, and Currency added.
- Added: Support for variation themes and parent/child relationships.
- Change: Feedback reports in Data Exchange are now updated every 5 minutes.
- Fix: Feedback reports were not generated in some cases when test mode was enabled for offer catalogues. This has been fixed.

Removed: Product type
PRODUCT (LISTINGS_PRODUCT_ONLY)can no longer be used for new catalogues. - New: Multi-ASIN export has been implemented.

Fix:
externally_assigned_product_identifierwas missing in catalogues created in English. This is now included. - Added: New column added to the feedback report to differentiate between offer and product catalogues.
- New: Mapped properties without a value (e.g. empty discount price) are now ignored during export.
- New: Fallback for BTG mapping (recommended_browse_node): if no property is mapped, the category link in Amazon settings is used.
- Removed (temporary): Predefined values for fields such as manufacturer, bike type, and brand have been removed. Custom values are allowed. Further handling is under development.

Fix:
batteries_includedwas not exported in some cases. This has been fixed. - Change: The item export toggle only applies to legacy exports (flat file/adapter) and does not affect catalogue exports. Catalogue export is controlled directly within each catalogue.
Amazon Product Types
- Fix: Product types were not activated across all platforms in some cases.
- Change: Naming of product catalogues has been adjusted. Technical names added for improved traceability.
- Fix: In specific combinations, not all product types were displayed.
Amazon Feeds Overview
- New: Additional filter makes it easier to locate the relevant feed submission reports.
- New: "Created" column added. Processing time is now updated when the report is requested.
Amazon Settings
- Change: Feedback reports in Data Exchange now also show valid responses when catalogue exports are in test mode.
- Change: Renaming of sections for catalogue reports and adapter for more clarity.

- Updated: Mapping file for new and old product types revised. IDs added to legacy product types. View overview
