You need an auth code to transfer the domain. You can only generate it for domains that are assigned to a client, and it does not work for transfers between two PlentyONE systems.

How to proceed

1. Check whether the domain is assigned to a client. Otherwise, you cannot generate an auth code.
2. Generate the auth code in the domain assistant under Setup » Settings » Hosting » Domains. The code is valid for 30 days. Use it with the new provider within this time, otherwise you will have to generate a new one.
3. The procedure differs for country-specific domain endings (for example .de). If the assistant does not generate a code, contact support.
4. Note when deleting: A domain that points to external cannot be deleted. To delete it, it must be assigned to a client and must not be the client’s primary domain.
