A delay of up to three hours when importing your PayPal payments (e.g. from Shopware) is a normal process. This is related to how the payments are imported via the Reporting Tool from PayPal.

How does the import work and why can delays occur?

Your PlentyONE system queries the Reporting Tool from PayPal hourly to import new transactions.

• As soon as PayPal provides the payment data in this reporting, PlentyONE can retrieve it and create the payments in the system.
• The speed at which PayPal provides this data can vary.
• Sometimes it takes longer on PayPal's side to make the data available.
• Due to this delay on PayPal's part, combined with the hourly rhythm of the query (the "cron timing"), the entire import process can shift from the usual 2 hours to up to 3 hours.

If this happens, no action is required on your part.
