To support accessibility and comply with the European Accessibility Act, alternative texts for images can now be transmitted in the export to Kaufland.

The alternative text can be maintained per image directly at the item level.

What’s new:

• Catalog export:
  • When using the Image List mapping, select “Complete Image Information” in the Image information dropdown to export both image URLs and alt-texts.
  • Alt-texts are exported in the catalog language (example: Kaufland SK catalog = SK language).
  • The setting “PlentyONE language for product data” is not considered.
• Legacy export (Kaufland DE only):
  • Alt-texts from the German locale are automatically included in the export when available.
