What changed
A Flow without steps or without a trigger could prevent the Flow overview from loading. As a result, you could not see or edit any of your other Flows either, and you could not deactivate or fix the faulty Flow. Such Flows are now handled correctly. The Flow overview loads as usual, and you can open and repair the faulty Flow.
How it works
- Flows without steps are displayed in the overview. They are marked as not activatable and show the message that an empty Flow cannot be activated.
- If you open an active Flow that is faulty, it is deactivated automatically so that you can edit it right away. A warning message informs you about this.
- If a Flow has no trigger, the manual trigger is set by default when you open it. It uses the object type of the Flow (for example contacts or items). If the Flow has no known object type, orders are used. You can change the trigger afterwards.
- If the automatic deactivation fails, an error message is shown and the Flow is displayed as it was loaded.
- Active Flows that are valid and Flows that are already inactive are not changed.
- Faulty Flows cannot be executed from the overview. The Execute action is disabled for them.
What you need to do
- Nothing for Flows that are valid: they work as before.
- For a faulty Flow, open it, add the missing steps and check the trigger, then save and activate it again.
Good to know
- The manual trigger is only a default. It is not saved until you save the Flow in the editor. A Flow with a manual trigger never starts on its own.
- If you only rename a Flow or change its description in the overview, the trigger is not changed and no manual trigger is added.
- The Flow overview shows the deactivated state the next time it is loaded.
