When an item variation was changed and saved in the UI, a subsequent reload triggered the data query call as expected. However, if the data of this variation was then changed by an external source (e.g., another user, the REST API, or an import process), a further reload failed. No network request was sent, leaving outdated data in the UI. Saving again via the UI could lead to the externally changed data being unintentionally overwritten.
This issue has been resolved.
