The offer and product catalogues for Conrad have been updated to comply with the requirements of the German Battery Act (BattDG) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
What has changed?
Offer catalogues
- The previous individual EPR data fields have been replaced by a data field combination in the new Eco Contributions section:
- Conrad EPR category
- Conrad EPR producer ID
- Conrad EPR amount
Important:- All three fields in the data field combination must be mapped. If one field is missing, no values will be transferred.
- The previous individual EPR fields will remain available temporarily and will continue to be transferred. Once you use the new data field combination, mappings in the old EPR fields of this catalogue will be ignored and only the values from the new combination will be transferred.
How to map the data field combination:- Select the appropriate EPR category under Conrad EPR category.
- Then map the corresponding EPR registration number under Conrad EPR producer ID.
- Finally, map the appropriate EPR contribution under Conrad EPR amount.
- To transfer information for additional EPR categories, add another data field combination via + ADD CONRAD EPR CATEGORY and map it accordingly.
- New category for the Conrad EPR category data field
- DE-BATTG
For relevant offers, a BattDG number must be provided in the Conrad EPR producer ID data field when using this category. This can be either your own number or that of the initial distributor.
Product catalogues
A new section Battery Act (BattDG): battery category has been added:
- Battery Act (BattDG): battery category
Map the appropriate battery category if your item is subject to the BattDG.
Important: If your item is not subject to the BattDG, select the value does not apply (notrelevantBattDG).
Required actions
- Review and update your catalogue mappings.
- Check which of your items require adjustments. In the Conrad Seller Portal, you can find an overview of affected products in the Legal Dashboard under BattDG.
